Spa Lofts

Despite a sluggish housing market, more new loft and high rise projects keep being announced. I received an email from the broker, asking me if I would put up information on the project, so here it is. Spalofts is being developed by the Light Group, whose premiere partner Andrew Sasson is responsible for Panorama Towers as well as several nightclubs like Light in Las Vegas and New York City.

Spa Lofts will be an intimate midrise project of three buildings. Residences will be on the top 4 floors with parking below. There are four floor plans of one and two story lofts to choose from. Phase one pricing is set around $350 per square foot, a bargain compared to similar projects around the valley. Spa Lofts will have all of the common amenities and units come furnished with the latest high end fixtures, including a home theater system complete with surround sound and plasma tv. Reservations are being taken at this time and with only 147 units available, it should be sold out soon. Spa Lofts is being built on Rainbow Blvd, near the beltway.

More Las Vegas condo conversions

Despite the flood of homes on the market, condo conversions are going strong. Several more projects have been announced, with more planned. Some of the newer projects are Dolce, Murano, Pinehurst, Viscaya, Chapelhill and Valencia. Like their predecessors, the communities feature lots of amenities and mature landscaping.

Most have some kind of move in special, like no HOA or payments for the first year, help with closing costs, free upgrades, etc. If you are thinking about buying a condo, a conversion is not a bad choice.
